Porter T. was born on May 11th, 1906 in St. Clair Co., AL.1 Porter T.'s father was James David Scott and his mother was Panora Spradley. His paternal grandparents were Ebenezer Thorton Scott and Martha Ann Cannon; his maternal grandparents were Napoleon Bonapart Spradley and Minerva Adalaide Kirby. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Davis C., Ebenezer Napoleon, Cheata, Bessie B. and Rubye. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 51 on January 6th, 1958 in Marshall Co., AL. He was buried in Memory Hill Cemetery, Albertville, Marshall Co., AL.1 1 -
