Warren Coley was born on August 31st, 1875 in Highland Home, Crenshaw Co., AL.1 Warren Coley's father was William Thomas Sansom and his mother was Caroline Amelia Spradley. His maternal grandparents were Warren Charles Spradley and Alcey D. Malone. He had a brother and two sisters, named P. Allie, Adeline and Mary Francis. He was the second youngest of the four children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Adolph A., Marion Alonzo, James, Flora and Georgian.
