His maternal grandparents were Bryant Eugene Spradley and Emmaline Todd. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Bryant Dudley, Macron Lucas, James Luther, Warren Brewer, Unknown, Evie Nevada, Sarah Emma, Ruby Florence, Anna Amelia and Unknow.
