William Hollan was born on August 16th, 1905 in Pike Co., AL.1 William Hollan's father was Herbert H. Rushing and his mother was Nora A. Spivey. His paternal grandparents were Stephen McDonald Rushing and Martha Sylvester Edwards. He had two brothers and a sister, named L. J., Render H. and Beulah.
