Melvin Armstrong was born on February 15th, 1907 in ?.1 Melvin Armstrong's father was William Jack Rushing and his mother was Zelpha Lourena Henderson. His paternal grandparents were Stephen McDonald Rushing and Martha Sylvester Edwards. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Austin M., William Hollis, Felix Fullmer, Linnie Mae, Rudy Estelle and Glennie Myrtle. He died at the age of 76 on June 5th, 1983 in Columbus, Muscogee, GA.1 -
