Silas Atlas Rollins 
Silas Atlas was born on February 27th, 1850 in Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina.1 Silas Atlas' father was John W. Rollins (doctor) and his mother was Martha Anne Douglas. His maternal grandparents were Silas Douglas and Mary Harrington. He had three brothers named Frederick A., John Carson and Charles Avent. He was the oldest of the four children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Solomon Joseph, Richard E., Jr., Ney Pickett, Ada Leonora and Celeste. He died in Montgomery County, Alabama.1 -
