Ney Pickett Park 
Ney Pickett was born on January 30th, 1868.1 Ney Pickett's father was Richard E. Park and his mother was Martha Anne Douglas. His maternal grandparents were Silas Douglas and Mary Harrington. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Solomon Joseph, Richard E., Jr., Ada Leonora and Celeste. He was the youngest of the five children. He had four half-brothers named Silas Atlas, Frederick A., John Carson and Charles Avent. He died at the age of 53 on November 21st, 1921. He was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Montgomery, Alabama.1 1 -
