Eizabeth was born about 1856 in GA.1 Eizabeth's father was Thomas Jefferson Reeves and her mother was Mary B. Buckner. Her maternal grandparents were Wiley W. Buckner and Judith Tapley Handley. She had two brothers and a sister, named Wiley Buckner, Edward Lafayette Thomas and Martha Dranny. She was the oldest of the four children. She died in ?.1 General Notes

Elizabeth "Bettie" Reeves, b. ca. 1856, married Charles Melvin 11/15/1883
in Taylor County, GA. (I have no date of death or where they are
buried). Elizabeth and Charles may have had two daughters as Ella, age 6
and Mary, age 13 are listed on the 1900 census of Taylor County in the
home of Mary Buckner Reeves, 74 along with her daughter, Elizabeth, age
