Fenimore Cooper Pomeroy 
Fenimore Cooper was born on November 4th, 1818 in Cooperstown, New York.1 Fenimore Cooper's father was George Pomeroy and his mother was Ann Cooper. His maternal grandparents were William-, Judge Cooper and Elizabeth Fenimore. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William Cooper, William Cooper, George Quartus, Edgar Cooper, Georgianna Cooper, Hannah Cooper, Elizabeth, Ellen Cooper and Laura Cornelia. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 51 on August 25th, 1870.1 -
