George Decator was born on August 9th, 1891 in Darden Place, AL.1 George Decator's father was James Newton Olive and his mother was D. Alabama Logan. His maternal grandparents were Ellis Logan and Amanda M. Wood. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Roscoe Waits, Vol Vertie, Loyd Clyde, Chestor Newton, James Essie, Buelah Belle and Theo.
