Chestor Newton was born on November 25th, 1895 in Darden Place, AL.1 Chestor Newton's father was James Newton Olive and his mother was D. Alabama Logan. His maternal grandparents were Ellis Logan and Amanda M. Wood. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Roscoe Waits, Vol Vertie, Loyd Clyde, George Decator, James Essie, Buelah Belle and Theo. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 55 on April 6th, 1951 in ?.1 -
