William Thomas was born on November 29th, 1875 in Coosa Co., AL.1 William Thomas' father was Henry Walter Miller and his mother was Mary Fannie Vansandt. His paternal grandparents were James Miller and Mary Gibson; his maternal grandparents were James, Sr. Vansandt and Nancy White. He had two brothers and three sisters, named J. H., George Blane, Amanda Cordellia, Mary Elizabeth and Nancy Annie. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 76 on January 3rd, 1952 in Coosa Co., AL.
