James S. Miller 
James S. was born on June 19th, 1879 in Coosa Co., AL.1 James S.'s father was Charles T. Miller and his mother was Elizabeth Mitchell. His paternal grandparents were James Miller and Mary Gibson. He had two sisters named Fannie and Mattie. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 71 on August 27th, 1950 in AL. J. H. Miller, son of C. T. Miller, made a splendid record in farming. He
was one of the first or top men in the early cattle business in Coosa
County. The writer remembers him as a delightful citizen in the life of
the Community, one who always showed a helping hand where ever help was
needed. (1)
