John Ledbetter 
John was born on December 25th, 1774 in Orange Caswell.1 John's father was Joel Ledbetter and his mother was Catherine Brazelton. His paternal grandparents were Henry Ledbetter and Edy Clark. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Joel, Jr., Ephraim, Samuel B., Daniel A., Henry Buford, Lydia, Edy, Mary Polly and Abby. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 56 on January 25th, 1831 in Townville, Anderson Co., SC.1 -
