David Turner Ledbetter 
David Turner was born on February 4th, 1819 in ?.1 David Turner's father was John Ledbetter and his mother was Mary Verner. His paternal grandparents were Joel Ledbetter and Catherine Brazelton. He had three brothers named John, Jr., Joel and George Montgomery. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 58 in 1877 in Calhoun Co., AL.1 General Notes

Died at his fram north of Jacksonvill, Calhoun, Co., AL. He received
injury from a tema of oxen. He eventually died from the injury. He is
buried in Green Cemetery near his which is owned by his great grandson.
On 7 Feb 1843 Thomas A. Patrick conveyed 150 acres of land to David.
(Vol. Z page 311 deed records, Anderson Co., SC about 1853 his family
moved to Benton Co., AL which in 1858 became Calhoun Co., AL
