James Wilfred Johnston

James Wilfred was born on June 22nd, 1908 in Troy, Pike Co., AL.¹   James Wilfred's father was Robert Houston Johnston and his mother was Era Graham.  His paternal grandparents were Robert Green Johnston and Mary Jane Colley. He had two sisters named Wilma and Eloise. He had five half-brothers and a half-sister, named Robert Edward, William Burton, James Henry, Roy Houston, Living and Margaret Louise.  He died at the age of 74 on March 27th, 1983 in Charlotte, NC.¹ 

‌James Wilfred and Mary Kate were married in a religious ceremony on April 17th, 1927 in Troy, Pike Co., AL.¹   They had three daughters named Mary Sue, Patsy Ruth and Living.
