Franklin Abner was born on November 7th, 1850 in Autauga Co., AL.1 Franklin Abner's father was Bolling II Hall and his mother was Mary Louisa Crenshaw. His paternal grandparents were Bolling I Hall and Jane Abercrombie; his maternal grandparents were Abner Crenshaw and Charlotte Perry Elmore. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Bolling III, Crenshaw, James Abercrombie, John Elmore, Thomas Brown, Hines Holt, Joseph Eugene, Charles Edward, Mary Louisa, Laura June and Caroline Sophia. He was the third youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 69 on April 22nd, 1920 in Montgomery Co., AL. He was buried in Hall - Rawlinson Cemetery, Elmore Co., AL.1 1 General Notes
