Wylie Malone Goodwin 
Wylie Malone was born on April 9th, 1889 in Shelby Co., AL.1 Wylie Malone's father was Asa Amos, Jr. Goodwin and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Spradley. His paternal grandparents were Asa Amos, Sr. Goodwin and M. Emily Howard; his maternal grandparents were John William Spradley and Nancy Blackman. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Ulysses Fredrick, Horace Oliver, Hattie, Audrah L. and Evie. He was the third oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Asa Edward, William Houston, Nancy Georgianna and Mary Emily. He died at the age of 31 on February 7th, 1921 in Jefferson Co., AL. Wylie Malone Goodwin's death certificate gives a birth year of 25 January
1889. His trade is given as grocer. The information was given by Fred
Goodwin (brother). His wife's name is shown as Mary. Don't know if this
was a first name or a nickname for Myrtle Meyers. His obituary says he
leaves a wife and four children, but does not name them.
