Fletcher Rabon was born on September 7th, 1913.1 Fletcher Rabon's father was William Murdock Gillis and his mother was Minnie Irene Douglas. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Rabon Douglas and Fletcher Elizabeth McNeil. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William Lyndal, Alton, John Ray, Murdock Glen, Billy Douglas, Verna Louise, Ethel Fay and Living.-
