Stephen Harmon was born in 1791 in Laurens County, South Carolina.1 Stephen Harmon's father was Nicholas Ware Garrett and his mother was Sara Brantley. His paternal grandparents were Edward II Garrett and Ann West Ousley. He had a brother named Newton. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 59 in 1850 in Laurens County, South Carolina.1 -
