Overstreet William was born on May 25th, 1847.1 Overstreet William's father was James C. Garrett and his mother was Evaline Rials. His paternal grandparents were Robert* Jackson, Sr. Garrett and Mary* Ann Clackler; his maternal grandparents were Archibald* Rials and Elizabeth* Green. He had a brother and seven sisters, named John Mason, Mary E., Frances L., Nancy Ann, Sallie Susan, Julia E., Annie E. and Sophia L.. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 72 on October 27th, 1919. He was buried in Castleberry , Alabama - Buffington Cemetery.1 1 -
