Edward LaFayette was born on April 13th, 1901 in Hanover, Coosa Co., AL.1 Edward LaFayette's father was Arthur Addison Darden and his mother was Malissie Annie Calloway. His paternal grandparents were Uriah Addison Darden and Mary Logan. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Raybon Keener, Arie Jefferson, William Max, Vera Belle and Lola Grace. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 94 on August 30th, 1995 in AL.1 General Notes
