William Cooper

William was born in 1801.¹ William's father was Thomas, Jr. Cooper and his mother was Mary Merrick. His paternal grandparents were Thomas, Sr. Cooper and Phebe Hibbs. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, Thomas III, Samuel, Rachel, Martha, Phebe, Mary and Hannah. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 67 in 1868.¹
