Martha Cooper

Martha was born about 1786.¹ Martha's father was Thomas, Jr. Cooper and her mother was Mary Merrick. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas, Sr. Cooper and Phebe Hibbs. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, Thomas III, Samuel, William, Rachel, Phebe, Mary and Hannah. She was the second oldest of the nine children.
