James Cooper 
James was born on March 6th, 1753 in Moreland, Pennsylvania.1 James' father was James- Cooper and his mother was Hannah Hibbs. His paternal grandparents were William- Cooper and Mary Groom. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William-, Judge, Benjamin, Levi, Sr., Susannah, Letitia, Ann and Hannah. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Marmaduke, Meshach, Naboth, Noah, Alpkeus, Amelia and Laodosia. He died at the age of 96 on May 1st, 1849 in Oswego, New York.1 -
