Alpkeus Cooper 
Alpkeus was born on June 25th, 1789 in West Cain Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.1 Alpkeus' father was James- Cooper and his mother was Elizabeth Wager. His paternal grandparents were William- Cooper and Mary Groom. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Marmaduke, Meshach, Naboth, Noah, Amelia and Laodosia. He was the youngest of the seven children. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named James, William-, Judge, Benjamin, Levi, Sr., Susannah, Letitia, Ann and Hannah. He died at the age of 55 on February 21st, 1845.1 -
