Nancy Othello was born on August 1st, 1825 in Laurens County, South Carolina.1 Nancy Othello's father was George Cook and her mother was Mary W. Garrett. Her maternal grandparents were Jesse, Sr. Garrett and Elizabeth Henderson. She had a brother named William Edward. She was the older of the two children. She died at the age of 66 on September 21st, 1891 in Ellis, Texas.1 -
