Anna Vera Castellow 
Anna Vera was born on February 16th, 1865 in GA.1 Anna Vera's father was John Bryant, Jr. Castellow and her mother was Amanda Aline Dismukes. Her paternal grandparents were John Bryant Castellow and Amy Hill McClendon; her maternal grandparents were John Dismukes and Mary Wilson. She had six brothers and four sisters, named William Franklin, Stephen Thomas, Benjamin Jordan, Robert Fleming, John Broadus, Isham Lee, Mary E., Elizabeth Rebecca, Cordelia and Susanah. She was the second youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 55 on August 21st, 1920 in AL. She was buried in Rocky Mount Cemetery, Elmore Co., AL.1 1 General Notes

Anna Vera Castellow Dismukes b1865, d1920 is my husband's g-grandmother.
She married Abner Benjarmin Dismukes who was her first cousin. Anna
Vera's mother was Amanda Aline Dismukes b.1824, d1894. We live in the
house that Anna and Abner built in the 1890's at Rocky Mount in Elmore
County, AL. It is now a bed and breakfast.
