Mary Caroline was born in 1855 in GA.1 Mary Caroline's father was William Henry Castellaw and her mother was Harriet Ann Stephens. Her paternal grandparents were James G. Castellaw and Sarah Arnold. She was an only child. She died in TX.1 General Notes

great! The photo of Mary Elizabeth Castellaw is my great grandmother.
She was born in 1855 in Georgia. Her parents, William H. Castellaw and
Harriet Stephens migrated from Henry County, Georgia to Lavaca County,
Texas in the mid 1800's. I have to question whether her middle name is
Elizabeth as my father referred to her as Mary Caroline and her marriage
certificate does appear to have a middle initial "C". She married
McCamey Smith Osbourn on July 15, 1869 in Lavaca County, TX. Pam Nelson -
