Mary Jane Bell

Mary Jane was born on May 1st, 1844.¹   Mary Jane's father was Bazel Bell and her mother was Ellender Humphry.  Her maternal grandfather was Joseph Humphry. She had five brothers and eight sisters, named William Henry, James Matthew, Willis C., George Rufus, John E., Rebecca Jane, Frances Elizabeth, Josephine, Emoline, Margaret Henrietta, Alice V., Elizabeth E. and Mattie A..  She was the second oldest of the fourteen children.  She died at the age of 77 in 1921.  She was buried in Brushy Creek Methodist Cemetery, Conecuh County, Alabama.^1 1
