Josephine Bell

Josephine was born in 1848.¹   Josephine's father was Bazel Bell and her mother was Ellender Humphry.  Her maternal grandfather was Joseph Humphry. She had five brothers and eight sisters, named William Henry, James Matthew, Willis C., George Rufus, John E., Mary Jane, Rebecca Jane, Frances Elizabeth, Emoline, Margaret Henrietta, Alice V., Elizabeth E. and Mattie A..  She was the fifth oldest of the fourteen children.
