Susannah W. was born on February 24th, 1831 in Lauderdale Co., TN.1 Susannah W.'s father was James Barfield and her mother was Frances Pendleton Gaines. Her paternal grandparents were Frederick Barfield and Susannah Williams; her maternal grandparents were Henry Gaines and Susannah Featherstone. She had eight brothers named Frederick, Henry Pendleton, William Dixon, James, Robert Boyd, Ira G., John W. and Alexande S.. She died at the age of 51 on January 19th, 1883 in TN.1 -
