Robert Boyd Barfield 
Robert Boyd was born on August 19th, 1826 in Lauderdale Co., TN.1 Robert Boyd's father was James Barfield and his mother was Frances Pendleton Gaines. His paternal grandparents were Frederick Barfield and Susannah Williams; his maternal grandparents were Henry Gaines and Susannah Featherstone. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Frederick, Henry Pendleton, William Dixon, James, Ira G., John W., Alexande S. and Susannah W.. He died at the age of 21 on February 5th, 1848 in Puebla, Mexico.1 -
