Lila Dee was born on June 25th, 1925 in Marshall Co., AL.1 Lila Dee's father was Charles Thomas Anderton and her mother was Betty Gertha Lee Ledbetter. Her paternal grandparents were James P. Anderton and Sarah Ann Davis; her maternal grandparents were Daniel Littleberry Woodville Ledbetter and Mary Elizabeth Kirkland. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Everett, Earn, Edward, Joseph Howard, Billy, Ethel N., Vera Mae, Lula Maude and Living. She had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Thomas A., Toney M., Zula, Lola B., Bessy and Daisy. She died at the age of 74 on February 24th, 2000 in AL. Claybourn not Dodson. Dodson was probably Lila's last husband. J.C.
Claybourn was Gary's dad.She was married to another man too but mom
doesn't remember his name.
