Alice was born about 1224 in Lusignan, Vienne, France.  Alice's father was Hugh de la Marche X le Brun Ct de la Marche and her mother was Isabella Taillefer de AngoulIme.  Her paternal grandparents were Hugh de Lusignan IX Ct de la Marche and Mathilde Taillefer de AngoulIme; her maternal grandparents were Aymer Taillefer de Valence Ct de AngoulIme and Alice de Courtenay. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Hugh de Lusignan, Guy de Lusignan, Geoffrey le Brun, Sir William de Valence, Aymer Ademar de Valence, Henri de la Marche, Isabella, Marguerite, Agnes and Isabella. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Henry III Plantagenet, Richard of Cornwall, Joan, Isabella and Eleanor.  She died in Warren, Sussex, England.

‌Alice and John de Warenne were married in a religious ceremony in August 1247.  They had a son and two daughters, named William de Warenne V, Eleanor and Isabel.
