Isolde (Iseude) was born about 1265 in Wigmore, Herefordshire, England. Isolde (Iseude)'s father was Roger de Mortimer Baron Wigmore and her mother was Maud de Braose. Her paternal grandparents were Ralph de Mortimer Baron Wigmore and Gwladus Ddu "the Dark verch Llywelyn Fawr; her maternal grandparents were William "Black Will" de Braose Lord Brecknock and Eva Marshal. She had five brothers and a sister, named Ralph, Sir Edmund de Mortimer, Geoffrey, Roger, William and Isabella. She had a half-sister named Gwenllian. She died in 1338.General Notes
