Michael Shurts (Shurtz) 
Michael was born about 1691 in Darmstadt Hesson Germany. Michael's father was Michael Shurts (Shurtz) and his mother was Catherina. He had four brothers and a sister, named Andreas, David (Valentine David), Jurgen (Jury), Michael and Miss. He died about September 24th, 1749 in Readington Township Hunterdon Co. New Jersey.
‌Michael and Maria Elizabetha were married in a religious ceremony on February 2nd, 1711 in Hackensack Reformed Dutch Church Bergen Co. New Jersey. They had four sons and three daughters, named Johannes, Johannes, Abraham, George, Antie, Eve and Margrite.
