Abraham Shurts (Shurtz) 
Abraham was born in 1722. Abraham's father was Michael Shurts (Shurtz) and his mother was Maria Elizabetha Stiernen (Steir). His paternal grandparents were Michael Shurts (Shurtz) and Catherina; his maternal grandparents were Jost George Stier and Anna Margit Slaeygel. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Johannes, Johannes, George, Antie, Eve and Margrite. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died about 1810 in Lebanon, Hunterdon Co. NJ.-
