David of was born in 1144 in Huntington, Huntingtonshire, Scotland.  David of's father was Prince Henry Canmore Earl Of Huntington and his mother was Gundred (Adelaide) De Warenne.  His paternal grandparents were David I "The Saint" King of Scotland and Maud (Mathilda) of Huntingdon; his maternal grandparents were Earl of Surrey William II De Warenne Earl of Surrey and Isabel De Crepi De Vermandois. He had a brother and four sisters, named William I "The Lion" King of, Ada, Marjory Princess of, Margaret and Margaret Of.  He was the second oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Waleran, William and Avicia.  He died at the age of 75 on June 17th, 1219 in Jedelay, Roxburghshire, Scotland.
