Maud (Mathilda) of was born about 1072 in Huntington, Huntingtonshire, England.  Maud (Mathilda) of's father was Waltheof II Earl of Northumbria and her mother was Countess of Boulogne Judith De Lens Countess of Boulogne.  Her paternal grandparents were Siward Biornsson Earl of Northumbria and Aefflaed of Bernicia; her maternal grandparents were Lambert II De Boulogne Comte De Lens and Adeliza De Normandy. She had a brother and a sister, named Uchtred Fitz Waldeve and Alice. She had a half-brother named William.  She died on April 23rd, 1131 in Scone, Perth, Scotland.
