Henry was born in 1281 in Grosment Castle, Monmouthshire, England.  Henry's father was Edmund Crouchback Plantagenet Earl Leicester and his mother was Blanche Capet de Artois.  His paternal grandparents were Henry III Plantagenet King of England and Eleanor Berenger de Provence; his maternal grandparents were Robert Capet de Artois I Ct de Artois and Matilda de Brabant. He had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas, John Plantagenet of Beaufort and Mary. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Theobald and Joan (Juana) I de Navarre.  He died at the age of 64 on September 22nd, 1345 in Leicester, England.

‌Henry and Alix were married in a religious ceremony after 1320.

‌Henry and Maud were married in a religious ceremony.  They had a son and six daughters, named Henry de Grosment, Blanche, Maude, Joan (Joanna), Isabel, Eleanor and Mary.
