Blanche de was born about 1316 in Wigmore, Herefordshire, England.  Blanche de's father was Roger de Mortimer , 1st Earl of March and her mother was Joan de Geneville , Heiress of Trim & Ludlow.  Her paternal grandparents were Edmund 1st Baron de Mortimer , 7th Lord Wigmore and Margaret de Fiennes; her maternal grandparents were Piers de Geneville , of Trim & Ludlow, Sir and Jeanne de Lusignan. She had a brother and six sisters, named Edmund de, Maud de, Margaret de, Agnes de, Joan de, Katherine de and Beatrice de.  She died in 1347.

‌Blanche de and Piers 2nd Baron de were married in a religious ceremony before June 10th, 1330 in Wigmore, Herefordshire, England.  They had a daughter named Isabel de.
