Alix de Thouars , Duchess of Brittany 
Alix de was born about 1195 in Thouars, Anjou, France. Alix de's father was Gui de Thouars , Count of Brittany and her mother was Constance de Brittany , Countess of Richmond. Her paternal grandparents were William Vicomte de Thouars and Aenor de Lusignan; her maternal grandparents were Conan IV Duke of Brittany , Earl of Richmond and Margaret de Huntingdon. She had a half-brother named Aurthur. She died on October 21st, 1221 in Convent of Cordeliers, Nantes, France.General Notes
Richmond, previous creations: Geoffrey and Constance's son Arthur, better known as the Prince who was probably done away with by King John, succeeded to the Earldom of Richmond and Dukedom of Brittany. Arthur had a sister Eleanor, who long outlived him, but the next holder of the Earldom of Richmond to be recognized as such was the husband of his niece of the half-blood, Piers de Braine. The latter had married Alice, daughter of Constance by her third husband Guy de Thouars, and had seisin of the Richmond property from January 1218/9, thus becoming its fully fledged Earl, the 1st such of this creation. Not that he enjoyed uninterrupted tenure. He was deprived of his lands (hence the Eardom too according to the system then in force) in 1224, from 1227 to 1229 and again in early 1235. He [Piers de Braine] married, 1stly, in February 1212/3, Alice, elder daughter and coheir of Guy DE THOUARS, sometime DUKE OF BRITTANY, by Constance, DUCHESS OF BRITTANY. John I Duke de was born in 1216 in Nantes, Bretagne, France. He died at the age of 69 on October 8th, 1285 in Richmond Castle, North Ride Yorkshire, England. He was buried in Abbey of Notre Dame de Prieres, France.
Yolande de Dreux
Yolande de was born in 1218 in Braine, Aisne, Picardy, France. She died at the age of 54 on October 10th, 1272.
