Roger De MORTIMER

Roger De was born about 1256 in Of, Wigmore, Herefordshire, England. Roger De's father was Roger de MORTIMER 6th Lord of Wigmore and his mother was Maud De BRAOSE. His paternal grandparents were Ralph de MORTIMER 2nd Lord of Wigmore and Gwladys "Ddu" Verch LLEWELYN PRINCESS OF NORTH WALES/PRINCESS OF NORTH WALES; his maternal grandparents were William de BRAOSE and Eve MARSHALL. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Ralph De, Edmund De, Geoffrey De, William De, Alicia, Isabella De, Isolde (or Iseude) de and Margaret. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He had a half-brother named William De. He died about August 3rd, 1326.
