Her paternal grandparents were Thomas de Holand , KG, 2nd Earl of Kent and Alice FitzAlan; her maternal grandparents were Edmund Plantagenet , KG, 1st Duke of York and Isabel Princess of Castile. March 1429/30) Eleanor, illegitimate daughter of Edmund (de Holland), 4th Earl of Kent, by Constance, widow of Thomas (le Despencer), 2nd son of 5th Lord Despencer and sometime Earl of Gloucester, daughter of Edmund (of Langley), 1st Duke of York.
