Edmund was born on August 5th, 1301 in Woodstock Palace, Oxfordshire, England.  Edmund's father was Edward I Plantagenet "Longshanks" King O England and his mother was Marguerite Princess of France.  His paternal grandparents were Henry III Plantagenet King of England and Eleanor of Provence; his maternal grandparents were Philip III "The Bold" King of France and Marie of Brabant. He had a brother named Thomas de.  He was the younger of the two children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Edward II Plantagenet King of, Eleanor, Joan "of Acre" and Elizabeth.  He died in Beheaded at Winchester, Hampshire, England.  He was buried in Westminster Abbey, London, Middlesex, England.

‌Edmund and Margaret were married in a religious ceremony about December 25th, 1325.  They had a daughter named Joan.
