Robert I was born about 1072 in Malpas, Whitchurch, Cheshire, England. Robert I's father was Hugh "Lupus" D' Avranches 1st Earl Of Chester and his mother was Various Mistresses. His paternal grandparents were Richard Le Goz Viscount D' Avranches and Emma De Conteville. He had two sisters named Maud D' and Helga De. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Richard D' and Geva D'. He died on November 25th, 1120.-
