Richard Le Goz Viscount D' was born about 1008 in Avranches, Normandy, France. Richard Le Goz Viscount D''s father was Toustien De Gernon Let Goz (Lord Heismar) and his mother was Judith De Montandlier. He had two brothers and a sister, named Robert, Humphrey De and Maud Margaret De. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died after 1084.General Notes
Crispin, M 1969 (pp. 79-80) is no doubt incorrect in showing Emma de Conteville as Richard's wife. Moriarty, 1985 (p. 11) says the marriage is probably unfounded.
They had three sons and four daughters, named Hugh "Lupus" D', Albert De, Turstin Of, Judith D', Albreda D', Margaret D' and Arbella De Loup.
