sir William De FERRERS 
William De was born in 1240 in Of, Groby, Leicestershire, England. William De's father was William de FERRERS 7th Earl of DERBY and his mother was Margaret De QUINCY. His paternal grandparents were William de FERRERS EARL OF DERBY and Agnes of Meschine; his maternal grandparents were Roger De QUINCY EARL OF WINCHESTER and Helen (Elena) Of GALLOWAY. He had a brother and three sisters, named Robert, Joan De, Elizabeth and Agnes De. He was the third oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother and seven half-sisters, named John De, Maud (Matilda) De, Agnes De, Isabel de, Joan De, Sibyl De, Agatha De and Eleanor De. He died at the age of 47 on December 20th, 1287.-
