Anne was born about 1358 in Essendine, Rutland, England. Anne's father was Edward DESPENCER BARON DESPENSER and her mother was Elizabeth De BURGHERSH BARONESS DESPENSER. Her paternal grandparents were Edward DESPENCER and Anne FERRERS; her maternal grandparents were Bartholomew BURGHERSH Baron Burghersh and Cicely De WEYLAND BARONESS BURGHERSH. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Edward, Phillip, Hugh Le, Thomas Le, Cicely, Margaret, Elizabeth and Phillippa. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children. She died on October 31st, 1426.-
